Yellow Belt 2 (8th Gup) Yellow Belt 3 (7th Gup) Yellow is like the warmth of the sun, so very necessary in our new life.
At this level we are taking much needed energy from the sun, building a strong foundation and learning to adjust to everything around us. The sun symbolises a source of energy, warmth and strength that is vital to our survival. |
Blue BeltBlue Belt 1 (6th Gup)
Blue Belt 2 (5th Gup) Blue Belt 3 (4th Gup) Blue is the colour of the sky and the heavens above. It is also the colour of the ocean. It symbolises nature.
Students at this level are reaching an understanding of direction. Freedom of movement is now much like the ocean. Direction is always upwards aspiring to reach the sky. |
Red BeltRed Belt 1 (3rd Gup)
Red Belt 2 (2nd Gup) Red Belt 3 (1st Gup) Red is the colour of flame…hot, dangerous and needs to be handled with extreme caution. It is also the colour of sunset. So beautiful, so natural and it evokes something within us all
